The live was a fundraiser for the judicial cost of the union, thanks to owners and bosses who keep sue them for their union action.
Τακούνι Σταρ started this great evening, with their no-wavey queer punk style and immediately everyone was screaming and dancing to it. Then, we played one of our best shows, consisting (almost) of new tracks that we've been working on lately. Afterwards, Γκάμελαν took over and they were fantastic. A mix of angular yet dreamy post punk riffs and politically charged spoken word lyrics, all done so tight. Last but not least, Les Βίαιες were on and they were terrific. Last time we played together, they were also great, but last Friday was something else. From the mid tempo grungy riffs, to the screamy climaxes, people were screaming and shouting and dancing.
That was all for this gig. It really is a bliss setting and playing gigs with all these great people. Much love to all the bands and the people from the union. DIY is not about just playing music whenever and wherever you want. It's the relationships that you built along the way and all the things that you share.
